Description:
The flat washer is the most commonly used washer and the standard washer on which other flat washer designs are based. The flat washer is used to increase the surface area of the fastener and thus to distribute the force more evenly over the surface to be fastened. Since it is flat on both sides, it can also be used as a spacer.
The washer is made of bright galvanised steel, which provides corrosion and oxidation resistance and a bright finish.
