Description:

The screw is made of hardened carbon steel with CorrSeal surface treatment. The screw has a milling element at the beginning of the thread, which eliminates the need for pre-drilling (except for exotic woods), and a top clamping thread, which generates a high clamping force to facilitate the straightening of curved boards. Once in place, the clamping thread helps to hold the board in place, allowing a smaller head shape with the same or greater gripping power than conventional deck screws.

The head of the screw is cylindrical with milling ribs underneath, allowing a nice finish without chipping. One advantage of the cylindrical head is that the boards do not split at the ends.
